Miguel-Angel Zapata is one of Peru’s most famous living poet, and it is a great honour for the Centre of César Vallejo Studies to be able to welcome him to the United Kingdom as the key-note speaker of the Commemoration of the Life and Work of César Vallejo on the event of the 70th anniversary of his death, a joint project between the Centre of Cesar Vallejo Studies (UCL), the Peruvian Embassy, Poet in the City, and the British Library project “Between Two Worlds” (Poems on the Underground)
