The Latina/o Literature and Culture Society of the American Literature Association seeks proposals for several panels at the American Literature Association’s 19th annual conference at the Hyatt Regency San Francisco, CA May 25-28, 2008.
Those interested in submitting a paper should send a one-page abstract with your name, position, affiliation, and contact information to Latina/o Literature and Culture Society co-chair Eliza Rodriguez y Gibson at eliza_rodriguezygibson@redlands.edu by January 17, 2008.
Possible topics include but are not limited to:
Transnational Latina/o Studies
New Voices in Latina/o Literature.
Latina/o Children’s Literature
Genre Studies: Fantasy, Science Fiction, Romance.
